Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Piorno Affonso kicked off to start the match. Urti Porquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orlo Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Papayal's goal looked a bit too open when Niva Valcazar came free, but Ubaldo Cieza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chagaragato FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lico Chamochin hit a great ball. Ubaldo Cieza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urti Porquera in the 14th minute of the match. Ubelteso Armenteross short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Andoni Usarralde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niva Valcazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Cieza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niva Valcazar ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piorno Affonso in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andoni Usarralde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Piorno Affonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ubelteso Armenteros came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Papayal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubelteso Armenteros couldn't finish the play. Chagaragato FC's Andoni Usarralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piorno Affonso in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Chagaragato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Carmeneses to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes Chagaragato FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cutberto Basaran who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Papayal's corner Modestio Trianes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andoni Usarralde quite easily take care of the ball. Ubelteso Armenteros had several of the Chagaragato FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andoni Usarralde as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niva Valcazar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ipar Arguiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piorno Affonso struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Andoni Usarralde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papayal. 55 minutes into the match, Piorno Affonso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chagaragato FC's Andoni Usarralde. Andoni Usarralde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piorno Affonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ipar Arguiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ubaldo Cieza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Cieza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Valcazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urti Porquera got free with Ubaldo Cieza in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Papayal's Ubaldo Cieza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Valcazar in the 79th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Papayal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chagaragato FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
