Espejo's Xever Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raulo Gallardo in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Omero Villalpando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosu's supporters rose to their feet, but Omero Villalpando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xever Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omero Villalpando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Xever Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Omero Villalpando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xever Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herauso Munis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pepillo Archimbaud made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yoel Perramon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Matias Berberana came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Mosu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Berberana couldn't finish the play. Mosu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raulo Gallardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
