Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Beat Burdeos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bittor Calzon's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Loiola Uranga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terepaima's Zeledon Gutarrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loiola Uranga in the 16th minute of play. Roano Cotrofe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Zeledon Gutarrate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Qwinton Talaga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bittor Calzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beat Burdeos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Beat Burdeos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Terepaima's Berart Besosa. But to his dismay, Berart Besosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Qwinton Talaga's late challenge caught a Terepaima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qwinton Talaga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Terepaima booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qwinton Talaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cesareo Peña fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terepaima's protests and gave Cesareo Peña a yellow card for diving instead. Cesareo Peña hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Loiola Uranga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Terepaima defense, Loiola Uranga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Gutarrate. The Terepaima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Gutarrate should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roano Cotrofe to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Terepaima's goal looked a bit too open when Roano Cotrofe came free, but Zeledon Gutarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Terepaima's zone, Loiola Uranga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gutarrate came out of the goal and Loiola Uranga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Villota hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Loiola Uranga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Gutarrate was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Beat Burdeos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berart Besosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Loiola Uranga had several of the Terepaima's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Zeledon Gutarrate as he didn't even see the shot coming. The long shot by Orzaize Santome in the 75th minute really tested Zeledon Gutarrate's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Qwinton Talaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estevez Guais hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Loiola Uranga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Zeledon Gutarrate made a huge save. In the 87th minute Roano Cotrofe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gutarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 88 in the game by Loiola Uranga from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Gutarrate managed to make a qualified save. Terepaima's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roano Cotrofe in the 90th minute of play forced Terepaima's goalkeeper Zeledon Gutarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Venezuela's Loiola Uranga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Gutarrate. Zeledon Gutarrate yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roano Cotrofe in the 95th minute of play forced Terepaima's goalkeeper Zeledon Gutarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Terepaima fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
