Erdiano Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oihan Pasqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gora Villagomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cordaryal Tablada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Trevijano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tagroima's Cordaryal Tablada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gora Villagomez in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oihan Pasqua to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Zernin Alberete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chirivital FC booed when Tagroima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Trevijano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Placiencia kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Chirivital FC were awarded a corner. Todor Baptista went to the cornerflag to take it. 72 minutes into the match, Tagroima's goal looked a bit too open when Gora Villagomez came free, but Cordaryal Tablada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gora Villagomez took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cordaryal Tablada. Cordaryal Tablada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Tiso Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gora Villagomez struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cordaryal Tablada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chirivital FC. Chirivital FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tagroima for a fine match.
