Darien Iriusta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chabier Sanguino. 1-0. When Millan Navariega came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Moncerrat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millan Navariega couldn't finish the play. Steven Estancion hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moncerrat FC's zone, Jørgen Estland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nafarroa Asegninolaza came out of the goal and Jørgen Estland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Estancion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Efraim Ceballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millan Navariega who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Chabier Sanguino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Moncerrat FC booed when Portuguesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gau Verdaguer didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Steven Estancion made the kick off in the second half. Muno Oterino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Zilar Casaponsa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The Moncerrat FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Moncerrat FC's Steven Estancion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portuguesa FC made a substitution. Maurin Cobos replaced Ur Cortina. Moncerrat FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
