Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymundo Trelles to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Boleita FC's goalkeeper Xarles Trexo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymundo Trelles. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gelacio Chavarria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep. Anzoategui's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelacio Chavarria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xarles Trexo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Dep. Anzoategui's Raymundo Trelles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xarles Trexo. Xarles Trexo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4.
