Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Payemi FC's Argina Ferrer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anxo Vinas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ipar Bravain in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Argina Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Payemi FC. Betadur Cajigal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Unai Castañera. 0-2. Chimborazo's Unai Castañera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argina Ferrer in the 16th minute of play. Argina Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Chimborazo's Horacio Bellogin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anxo Vinas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Payemi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimborazo:s goal. Gaitan Lamarta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guipuzkoa Pradias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Chimborazo's Anxo Vinas threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guipuzkoa Pradias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guipuzkoa Pradias made a kick off. Argina Ferrer spun around in front of the goal 51 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chimborazo's goal. Unai Castañera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argina Ferrer in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Payemi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaitan Lamarta came free, but Anxo Vinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Salazano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Unai Castañera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Payemi FC's Anxo Vinas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guipuzkoa Pradias in the 62nd minute of play. If Santiago Salazano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 played minutes Chimborazo got a freekick which was hit by Ipar Bravain. After recieving a nice pass, Payemi FC's Betadur Cajigal tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ipar Bravain was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Anxo Vinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitan Lamarta in the 82nd minute of the match. Aritza Alicea's late challenge caught a Chimborazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aritza Alicea helped the player get up and apologised. Aritza Alicea kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rai Castañondo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Argina Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unai Castañera was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Payemi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
