Maximino Onterino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Magaz in the 3rd minute of play. Maximino Onterino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karmel Ansola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico San Pancho F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kismi Argüello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kismi Argüello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Azevedo in the 8th minute of play. Chiriguare FC's Kismi Argüello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Azevedo in the 12th minute of play. Kismi Argüello made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Maxin Zabaleta sent off a good shot on target. Atletico San Pancho F.C.'s Maxin Zabaleta got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chiriguare FC's Kismi Argüello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chiriguare FC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Arsenio Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chiriguare FC's Kismi Argüello got control of the ball when Maxin Zabaleta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kismi Argüello. Kismi Argüello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxin Zabaleta got free with Kismi Argüello in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Atletico San Pancho F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Karmel Ansola came free, but Maximino Onterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Fernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kismi Argüello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Maxin Zabaleta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico San Pancho F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxin Zabaleta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxin Zabaleta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 40th minute of the match, Maxin Zabaleta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kismi Argüello was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Azevedo to make the kick off. Roldanillo Piñeira's late challenge caught a Chiriguare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roldanillo Piñeira helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mano Baez got free with Maximino Onterino in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Chiriguare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Azevedo came free, but Kismi Argüello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Cambero lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, one of Atletico San Pancho F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico San Pancho F.C.. Maximino Onterino went to the wrong direction when Luken Arzola was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chiriguare FC's zone, Fernando Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kismi Argüello came out of the goal and Fernando Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald de Visscher kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Kismi Argüello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Azevedo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico San Pancho F.C. had played much better football throughout.
