Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Alex Simon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Jarayadito's Gabriel Erce got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nalo Garavito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorencio Maltrana in the 9th minute of the match. Alex Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Godoy having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Merecito FC's Txartiko Llanderas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseba Godoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desiderio Barreto struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Joseba Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merecito FC. Mel Agra took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nalo Garavito. Nalo Garavito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joseba Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseba Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Alex Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Godoy having to interfere. Ariando Berrahondo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariando Berrahondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Merecito FC booed when Jarayadito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariando Berrahondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alex Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When Mel Agra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Jarayadito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mel Agra couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jarayadito getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ariando Berrahondo hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Lorencio Maltrana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alex Simon came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Merecito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Simon couldn't finish the play. Alex Simon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lorencio Maltrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nalo Garavito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorencio Maltrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Simon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Joseba Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Joseba Godoy made a huge save. Alex Simon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Somellero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarayadito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
