The referee ignored Las palmas F.C's protests and gave Confesor Porrata a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Las palmas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Confesor Porrata. After 23 played minutes Munada FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralondo Goñi. After 25 played minutes Las palmas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Gabi. After 26 minutes, Xove Meneses mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munada FC and the Las palmas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Las palmas F.C's Urko Barbeito was substituted for Vinicio Montes. In the 28th match minute, Munada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Meneses to maneuver through the defense. Solustiano Fermoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Louis Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Leon in the 85th minute of play forced Munada FC's goalkeeper Solustiano Fermoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Solustiano Fermoso having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Louis Leon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Solustiano Fermoso was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Las palmas F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
