In the 4th minute, Iparragirre Agosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Caripo's goalkeeper Mendebal Muro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maju Urrutia. Iparragirre Agosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Antonio Cuero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colon Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caripo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! In the 28thth minute of the game Iparragirre Agosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Managuaro's Antonio Cuero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Estevao Barrachina fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Managuaro's protests and gave Estevao Barrachina a yellow card for diving instead. Estevao Barrachina kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Caripo's Colon Gordon got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mendebal Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Babia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Caripo's goalkeeper Mendebal Muro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maju Urrutia. When Maju Urrutia came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Managuaro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maju Urrutia couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sotil Bolde charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotil Bolde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sotil Bolde hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Managuaro's goal looked a bit too open when Colon Gordon came free, but Antonio Cuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Babia might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mendebal Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Babia ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caripo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Managuaro a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Firmin Caceres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caripo's Mendebal Muro. 2-1. Antonio Cuero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iparragirre Agosta in the 67th minute. Alejandro Rodero charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Rodero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After taking down the ball on Caripo's corner Santos Latorre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonio Cuero quite easily take care of the ball. Colon Gordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Cuero having to interfere. Caripo's Mendebal Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Babia in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Colon Gordon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Cuero, 2-2. Antonio Cuero was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Iparragirre Agosta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iparragirre Agosta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Mendebal Muro had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Firmin Caceres's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Juan Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mendebal Muro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Latorre kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Mendebal Muro came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Managuaro's Juan Babia. But to his dismay, Juan Babia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
