In the 27th minute, Belo Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Duarte Feliu in the 28th minute really tested Donatello Tome's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Puedpa's goalkeeper Donatello Tome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shepherd Hierro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Donatello Tome when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Indartsu Albaratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Puedpa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Basilio Guardamino hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Indartsu Albaratay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Shepherd Hierro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Shepherd Hierro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donatello Tome was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Shepherd Hierro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Tome having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Mellado in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Cardona saved Caballito from getting behind. Donatello Tome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indartsu Albaratay, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute, Indartsu Albaratay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Puedpa got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Larrieta. Indartsu Albaratay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Tome having to interfere. Narciso Madinabeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marcelino Cardona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Louis Mellado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelino Cardona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 99 minutes in the game, Louis Mellado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcelino Cardona having to interfere.
