Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Indartsu Albaratay started the match with the kick off. Oxel Telena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indartsu Albaratay in the 4th minute of the match. Caripe FC's Oxel Telena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indartsu Albaratay in the 11th minute of play. Oxel Telena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indartsu Albaratay in the 13th minute of play. Cuartio Masferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Shepherd Hierro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelino Cardona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Septiem, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Shepherd Hierro might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oxel Telena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shepherd Hierro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Caripe FC's Amancio Xavalera got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caripe FC's zone, Indartsu Albaratay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oxel Telena came out of the goal and Indartsu Albaratay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Osvaldo Septiem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelino Cardona. The goal made the score 1-0. Tanio Cazares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marcelino Cardona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Indartsu Albaratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Septiem was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Tanio Cazares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indartsu Albaratay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes, Caripe FC's Niceto Viz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelino Cardona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caripe FC reached it. If Tanio Cazares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Indartsu Albaratay took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oxel Telena. Oxel Telena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 95th minute, Caripe FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Shepherd Hierro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caripe FC had won after a very even match.
