An unexpectedly hard shot by Perrando Pumar in the 11th minute of play forced Merey FC's goalkeeper Remigio Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenec Nuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Castilla having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Valente Ocasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carucumeru's supporters rose to their feet, but Valente Ocasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valente Ocasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Herrera having to interfere. Prospero Castilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 33 played minutes Carucumeru got a freekick which was hit by Valente Ocasio. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ysidro Moral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ysidro Moral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Castilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ysidro Moral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Castilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysidro Moral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ysidro Moral made a kick off. Prospero Castilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenec Nuevo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ysidro Moral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Castilla having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Orlan Osuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Perrando Pumar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Remigio Herrera, passed just outside the right post. Prospero Castilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenec Nuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ysidro Moral scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Castilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Ysidro Moral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Castilla. Carucumeru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ysidro Moral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Perrando Pumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Remigio Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Merey FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carucumeru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
