In the 5thth minute of the game Criston Miramontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimire FC's Edgard Galdeano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Criston Miramontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Galdeano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Criston Miramontes in the 13th minute of play forced Chimire FC's goalkeeper Edgard Galdeano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Nuno Verlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimire FC and the Bernal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Chimire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Verlo to maneuver through the defense. When Bernal FC's Criston Miramontes in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Criston Miramontes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgard Galdeano to make any attempt to save it. After 40 minutes, Frascuelo Lemus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bernal FC and the Chimire FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, one of Bernal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bernal FC. After 47 minutes of play, Chimire FC's Miguel Blazquez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ximen Escolar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Criston Miramontes to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Piarres Velicia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Piarres Velicia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Galdeano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Galdeano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Criston Miramontes in the 59th minute of the match. Edgard Galdeano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piarres Velicia in the 63rd minute of play. Piarres Velicia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Galdeano having to interfere. Perutxo Villachica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piarres Velicia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edgard Galdeano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Criston Miramontes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chimire FC's Edgard Galdeano. Edgard Galdeano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Chimire FC's Lekubegi Torrea got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Criston Miramontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Blazquez's late challenge caught a Bernal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Blazquez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chimire FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Miguel Blazquez hit a great ball. Edgard Galdeano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Criston Miramontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Piarres Velicia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edgard Galdeano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Blazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
