Rudolfo Gill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Curairima's Paublo Armoña got a free kick in the 20th minute. Camilo Ribota struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Isias Aizpurua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curairima. Camilo Ribota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Barricat hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dabi Lerin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mannuel Ogazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Mannuel Ogazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dabi Lerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolfo Gill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dabi Lerin having to interfere. When Pedro Capitan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Curairima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Capitan couldn't finish the play. Isias Aizpurua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Capitan in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Aguasal FC got a freekick which was hit by Petri Deleyto. Paulino Barquin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Isias Aizpurua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curairima. When Aguasal FC's Rudolfo Gill in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curairima's goalie prevented a goal. Mannuel Ogazon might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dabi Lerin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mannuel Ogazon ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Aguasal FC got a freekick which was hit by Mannuel Ogazon. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Capitan made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play Curairima's Luisito Barricat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luisito Barricat kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Curairima's Dabi Lerin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolfo Gill in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curairima's Paublo Armoña got a free kick in the 54th minute. Petri Deleyto, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mannuel Ogazon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Aguasal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Capitan came free, but Isias Aizpurua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Capitan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isias Aizpurua having to make a save. A collision led to Curairima getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Regis Jerez hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Camilo Ribota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isias Aizpurua was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Pedro Capitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isias Aizpurua having to interfere. If Camilo Ribota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Rudolfo Gill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguasal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolfo Gill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguasal FC's Isias Aizpurua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Ribota in the 85th minute of play. Camilo Ribota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isias Aizpurua having to interfere. Paulino Barquin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Petrigai Valdevielso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curairima's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
