Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Gartner's Lucian Cevallo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Neira charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Neira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eriberto Neira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Algarrobote's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Cevallo came free, but Froilan Calera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jed McCracken made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rutenio Dean sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes Gartner's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernesto Quijano who took care of the corner kick. Algarrobote's Ernesto Quijano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jed McCracken in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Cevallo in the 18th minute of play forced Algarrobote's goalkeeper Froilan Calera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucian Cevallo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Calera saved Algarrobote from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Gartner's goalkeeper Jed McCracken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rutenio Dean. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Teodosio Repiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobote's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Repiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jed McCracken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Algarrobote's Eriberto Neira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jed McCracken. Jed McCracken yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Teodosio Repiso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jed McCracken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jed McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernal Andujar in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Neira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gartner were furious when Donato Vives was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Donato Vives hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutenio Dean in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jed McCracken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 59 minutes, Etxeberri Vidales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gartner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etxeberri Vidales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jed McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Neira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Neira took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jed McCracken. Jed McCracken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Aspurua during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jed McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Apodaca in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Gartner's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Neira came free, but Jed McCracken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jed McCracken came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Algarrobote's Bernal Andujar. But to his dismay, Bernal Andujar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 94 minutes into the match, Gartner's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Repiso came free, but Jed McCracken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gartner's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
