Cajuy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tibroncito FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cajuy FC's Mirande Ocon got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Imanol Lugo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orlondo Remesal. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Tibroncito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beat Perez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tibroncito FC's zone, Fagildo Caborredondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Moreda came out of the goal and Fagildo Caborredondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Imanol Lugo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cajuy FC's Orlondo Remesal. Orlondo Remesal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fagildo Caborredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Cajuy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Imanol Lugo came free, but Orlondo Remesal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fagildo Caborredondo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cajuy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fagildo Caborredondo couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Cajuy FC's Mirande Ocon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Moreda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tibroncito FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ovidio Ochavarri hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Tibroncito FC's Orlondo Remesal threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Imanol Lugo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute, Tibroncito FC's Imanol Lugo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. When Cajuy FC's Fagildo Caborredondo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tibroncito FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Leon Lloves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fagildo Caborredondo made a kick off. Cajuy FC's Orlo Güega got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Cajuy FC were awarded a corner. Nofre Agranja went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Tibroncito FC's Leon Lloves got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Cajuy FC got a corner. Tibroncito FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nofre Agranja ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nofre Agranja made a great header on Cajuy FC's corner, it was just that Tibroncito FC's Erasmo Moreda managed to reach the ball for a save. Tobias Limia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Orlondo Remesal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ovidio Ochavarri fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibroncito FC's protests and gave Ovidio Ochavarri a yellow card for diving instead. Orlondo Remesal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Limia, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Orlo Güega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Erasmo Moreda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Moreda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagildo Caborredondo in the 74th minute of the match. Orlo Güega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Moreda having to make a save. Tibroncito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Fagildo Caborredondo scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Moreda, making the score, 3-3. In the 90th minute, Imanol Lugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlondo Remesal was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. With a little luck, Tibroncito FC's Erasmo Moreda got control of the ball when Orlo Güega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cajuy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
