In the 16th minute, Tximitx Alday got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guadalupe getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cresitobalo Gurbista hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eguntsenti Sastrias during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Ysidro Massey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the match, Fc Aragua's goalkeeper Paul Vinayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ysidro Massey. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tximitx Alday in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jago Amestoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guadalupe's Jago Amestoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Borrellino in the 45th minute of play. Tximitx Alday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jago Amestoy having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Paul Vinayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivareo Ayos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Andrew Borrellino made a precise shot to the right of Jago Amestoy. Guadalupe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fc Aragua's Eguntsenti Sastrias suffered a sore foot after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Guadalupe's Tebaldo Parandones got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tximitx Alday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jago Amestoy was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Gutxi Palafox capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gutxi Palafox really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Guadalupe's goalkeeper Jago Amestoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tximitx Alday. In the 72nd minute, Andrew Borrellino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tximitx Alday received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jago Amestoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ysidro Massey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Vinayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Aragua's Gutxi Palafox got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Claudinei Paza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ysidro Massey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Vinayo having to interfere. When the match was over Fc Aragua could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guadalupe throughout the match.
