Sol Rancel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliviero Codosal in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Tigre FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Larrinoa. When Mauro Horreo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigre FC's protests and gave Mauro Horreo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, one of Tigre FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tigre FC. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Chapazon. Aritza Pola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ubaldo Baena. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliviero Codosal in the 15th minute of play forced Chapazon's goalkeeper Sol Rancel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Jairo Cistero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Baena. Tigre FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Cistero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Xuaco Tijero scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Baena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Chapazon got a freekick which was hit by Felipillo Conti. 28 minutes into the match, Chapazon's goal looked a bit too open when Oliviero Codosal came free, but Sol Rancel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Cistero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ubaldo Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Tijero in the 40th minute of the match. Ubaldo Baena came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chapazon's Xuaco Tijero. But to his dismay, Xuaco Tijero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Cistero in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Baena saved Tigre FC from getting behind.

Tigre FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Jairo Cistero scored to the left of an out of position Ubaldo Baena, making the score, 0-5. With a little luck, Tigre FC's Ubaldo Baena got control of the ball when Xuaco Tijero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliviero Codosal might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sol Rancel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliviero Codosal ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Cistero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ubaldo Baena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuaco Tijero got free with Ubaldo Baena in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Chapazon's Xuaco Tijero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After a rather tough play, Chapazon's Santiago Elosua got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ubaldo Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Cistero, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Xuaco Tijero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tigre FC's Ubaldo Baena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Cistero in the 91st minute of play. Jairo Cistero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ubaldo Baena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xuaco Tijero scored 0-8 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Baena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chapazon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
