Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emilio Ibaizabal got the match started through his kick off. Alvaro Lueje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froylan Becerra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caritos's Germano Zaldua got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mantecal FC's Oliviero Mauricio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caritos. The supporters of Mantecal FC booed when Caritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argenis Cortadelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Guisla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Agado having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Guisla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiburcio Agado. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Tiburcio Agado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Caritos's Alvaro Lueje in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mantecal FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Mantecal FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Matai Candelaria hit a great ball. Alvaro Lueje might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froylan Becerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Lueje ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Lueje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mantecal FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Etxahun Busto hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Alvaro Lueje ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froylan Becerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Froylan Becerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Lueje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matai Candelaria kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eliseo Guisla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tiburcio Agado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Agado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Guisla in the 40th minute. Tiburcio Agado made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Eliseo Guisla sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Caritos's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ibaizabal came free, but Tiburcio Agado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Mantecal FC's Emilio Ibaizabal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Agado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mantecal FC's Eliseo Guisla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Gustavo Olaso fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caritos's protests and gave Gustavo Olaso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mantecal FC booed when Caritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Olaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Emilio Ibaizabal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Eliseo Guisla made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Agado. Caritos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tiburcio Agado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Ibaizabal in the 78th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Ortle Riero put in a rough tackle. In the 80th minute, one of Mantecal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mantecal FC. Germano Zaldua shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Matai Candelaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Caritos's goal looked a bit too open when Matai Candelaria came free, but Tiburcio Agado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mantecal FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
