Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Clavellina's Zacarias Feyto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Toronal FC's Tajo Cañal in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clavellina's goalie prevented a goal. Millrick Leira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Huercanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Huercanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Millrick Leira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Tirso Villalva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clavellina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toronal FC the free kick. Elivareo Acenero made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zacarias Feyto sent off a good shot on target. Tajo Cañal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Millrick Leira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Clavellina's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Huercanos came free, but Millrick Leira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toronal FC's Elivareo Acenero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Feyto in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tajo Cañal in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Millrick Leira saved Clavellina from getting behind. Millrick Leira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Huercanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Millrick Leira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Huercanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Huercanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Clavellina's goal looked a bit too open when Tajo Cañal came free, but Millrick Leira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toronal FC's Elivareo Acenero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Toronal FC from getting a goal against them. Xicu Sotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivareo Acenero having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Huercanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Xicu Sotillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Elivareo Acenero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Xicu Sotillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clavellina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xicu Sotillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Clavellina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gar Narez to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Huercanos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Millrick Leira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toronal FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xicu Sotillo in the 60th minute of play forced Toronal FC's goalkeeper Elivareo Acenero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toronal FC's Elivareo Acenero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Feyto in the 64th minute of play. Elivareo Acenero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xicu Sotillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 78th match minute, Toronal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulberto Teijelo to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Xicu Sotillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Toronal FC's Elivareo Acenero. Elivareo Acenero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elivareo Acenero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xicu Sotillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clavellina's Xicu Sotillo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Millrick Leira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Huercanos's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Iker Mijangos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Toronal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
