Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lore Palomares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Camejo's Xever Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lore Palomares in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Carlo Curbelo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 8 minutes into the game, Rogelio Mon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Puerto Cabello the free kick. After 9 played minutes Camejo got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Mon. In the 12th minute, Lore Palomares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Maneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Felipo Maeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Camejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonchan Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Pirro Reborio, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Angelino Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Puerto Cabello's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xever Camara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Maeda having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipo Maeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Maneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sergio Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipo Maeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Lorencio during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelino Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Txaran Pelayo, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 62nd minute Sergio Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipo Maeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Quintana in the 65th minute of play forced Academia Puerto Cabello's goalkeeper Felipo Maeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cilio Romani during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academia Puerto Cabello booed when Camejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cilio Romani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lore Palomares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Xever Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Maneiro in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipo Maeda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Maneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Maeda having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabino Rioz got free with Xever Camara in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Sergio Quintana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Academia Puerto Cabello's Felipo Maeda. Felipo Maeda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Camejo booed when Academia Puerto Cabello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Rioz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipo Maeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Quintana in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Puerto Cabello's zone, Erasto Carbezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipo Maeda came out of the goal and Erasto Carbezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academia Puerto Cabello's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
