The supporters of Buchivacoa booed when Cayena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aritza Idigoras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Buchivacoa's Neron Ronda got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Boni Jiron made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Donato Lavega sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buchivacoa's goalkeeper Brais Landaburu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Donato Lavega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buchivacoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Lavega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boni Jiron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Gual in the 93rd minute of play forced Cayena's goalkeeper Boni Jiron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
