Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Cayena's Tobias Rojo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Napier Huergo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Rojo in the 16th minute of play. Gaizko Campillo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Cayena's goal looked a bit too open when Maurin Texidor came free, but Boni Jiron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ciano Miquelarena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayena's Boni Jiron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Trevilla in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Cayena got a freekick which was hit by Salvino Villaseñor. In the 46th minute Maurin Texidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Jiron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurin Texidor was the one to do the kick off. Baldomiro Trevilla took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boni Jiron. Boni Jiron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Calvet Valgrande hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Trevilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boni Jiron having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ciano Miquelarena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napier Huergo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ciano Miquelarena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Ciano Miquelarena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napier Huergo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Cayena's goal looked a bit too open when Maurin Texidor came free, but Boni Jiron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Bidun Pertierra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Cayena got a freekick which was hit by Bidun Pertierra. In the 92nd minute Guilherme Sanes managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
