Aznaro Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasto Ortuño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match Alejandria FC got a corner. maracaibo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ganix Llorengoz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ganix Llorengoz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aznaro Aballe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Alejandria FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lucila Ester hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasto Ortuño in the 22nd minute of play forced maracaibo's goalkeeper Aznaro Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alejandria FC's goalkeeper Ivon Lando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Cayetano Rios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivon Lando, 2-0. After some careless play in the Alejandria FC defense, Ahmet Hayri Teren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivon Lando. The Alejandria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivon Lando should have stopped the shot. Lucila Ester kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Ahmet Hayri Teren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Ivon Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hayri Teren in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Cayetano Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The maracaibo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, maracaibo's goal looked a bit too open when Erasto Ortuño came free, but Aznaro Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivon Lando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 played minutes, maracaibo's Ahmet Hayri Teren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivon Lando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in maracaibo reached it. maracaibo's Aznaro Aballe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save maracaibo from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Hayri Teren struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ivon Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for maracaibo. When Lonzo Arteson fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alejandria FC's protests and gave Lonzo Arteson a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Alejandria FC got a freekick which was hit by Lonzo Arteson. Ahmet Hayri Teren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivon Lando having to interfere. Roberto Marigorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aznaro Aballe having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Xzavion Espejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the maracaibo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
