Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erauso Ayo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Quiroz FC booed when Requen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Dragana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Requen FC's zone, Erauso Ayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Fombona came out of the goal and Erauso Ayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evangelista Heredia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gualterio Fombona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erauso Ayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evangelista Heredia came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Quiroz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evangelista Heredia couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Orlando Getino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Requen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiroz FC the free kick. Orlando Getino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Erauso Ayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gualterio Fombona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gotzon Veidazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondino Sepulveda having to interfere. The supporters of Quiroz FC booed when Requen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordairo Enao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Requen FC's Gualterio Fombona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evangelista Heredia in the 38th minute of play. When Quiroz FC's Evangelista Heredia in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Requen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mauro Cladera took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondino Sepulveda. Ondino Sepulveda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gotzon Veidazar to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erauso Ayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Cladera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ondino Sepulveda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erauso Ayo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 72 minutes, Gotzon Veidazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Requen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gotzon Veidazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Patxi Viguri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Requen FC's Norberto Dragana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Gotzon Veidazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patxi Viguri kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Quiroz FC's Evangelista Heredia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Fombona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
