Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saturnino Santecilla took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Abilio Gargante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diaz Villahoz in the 12th minute of play forced Canaveral's goalkeeper Vistruario Fontan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chumo Fresco came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Paracones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chumo Fresco couldn't finish the play. Vistruario Fontan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diaz Villahoz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Porfirio Bachiller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paracones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canaveral the free kick. Erroman Lacalle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Abilio Gargante came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Canaveral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abilio Gargante couldn't finish the play. Vistruario Fontan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diaz Villahoz in the 38th minute of the match. Matro Tiedra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Diaz Villahoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iruinea Amezua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abilio Gargante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Canaveral's Saturnino Santecilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iruinea Amezua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abilio Gargante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diaz Villahoz was the one to do the kick off. Paracones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Saturnino Santecilla scored to the left of an out of position Iruinea Amezua, making the score, 1-2. Diaz Villahoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vistruario Fontan having to interfere. Canaveral's Matro Tiedra got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Matro Tiedra off the ground. After 69 played minutes Canaveral got a freekick which was hit by Matro Tiedra. Canaveral's Vistruario Fontan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chumo Fresco in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Diaz Villahoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paracones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diaz Villahoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vistruario Fontan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chumo Fresco in the 74th minute of play forced Canaveral's goalkeeper Vistruario Fontan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millano Tojedo's late challenge caught a Paracones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Millano Tojedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Millano Tojedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Canaveral's goal looked a bit too open when Chumo Fresco came free, but Vistruario Fontan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canaveral's Vistruario Fontan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diaz Villahoz in the 82nd minute of play. Diaz Villahoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chumo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vistruario Fontan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vistruario Fontan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diaz Villahoz in the 90th minute of play. Aritza Reboredo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Canaveral's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
