After a rather tough play, Cachamaure FC's Isidoro Tiedra got a free kick in the 10th minute. Vidal Patiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ourente Olier made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hernan Orbañanos sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th match minute, Remolino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Rubiños to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Hernan Orbañanos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lop Aquino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Patiño, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidal Patiño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cachamaure FC defense, Emenon Padolles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lop Aquino. The Cachamaure FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lop Aquino should have stopped the shot. If Vidal Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ourente Olier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Orbañanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachamaure FC's goalkeeper Lop Aquino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ourente Olier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachamaure FC. The Remolino players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
