Llorian Caño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Urquiza having to interfere. Star force's Xayveon Albaratay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Pagola in the 7th minute of play. Zuberoa Urquiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorian Caño in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Pagola in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xayveon Albaratay saved Star force from getting behind. If Donato Pagola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Pagola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Xayveon Albaratay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Naguanagua's zone, Clodoveo Barria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuberoa Urquiza came out of the goal and Clodoveo Barria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beliran Solbeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Modesto Sallas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llorian Caño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zuberoa Urquiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Star force's Donato Balague pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Naguanagua's Modesto Sallas got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes, Star force's Maximino Silio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zuberoa Urquiza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Star force reached it. Clodoveo Barria might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zuberoa Urquiza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Barria ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 minutes Naguanagua's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximino Silio who took care of the corner kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Barria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valiente Bonvehi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Naguanagua's Sadurni Portocarrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xayveon Albaratay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Naguanagua reached it. Donato Pagola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Barria in the 63rd minute of play forced Naguanagua's goalkeeper Zuberoa Urquiza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Clodoveo Barria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuberoa Urquiza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Naguanagua's Modesto Sallas got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to Naguanagua getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Leonardo Mantilla hit a great ball. Dalmacio Mazuelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Albaratay having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Naguanagua's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Barria came free, but Zuberoa Urquiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xayveon Albaratay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beliran Solbeida in the 76th minute. Clodoveo Barria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naguanagua's Beliran Solbeida got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Donato Pagola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xayveon Albaratay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beliran Solbeida kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Naguanagua's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
