The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mano Hortega in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Naranjo saved DreamerOne FC from getting behind. Frederik Urria lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 7 minutes into the game, one of DreamerOne FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Miticun FC. Geronimo Ben stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Naranjo. 0-1. Mano Hortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gil Naranjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DreamerOne FC's Santxo Hostos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Inigo Hoyuelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Naranjo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Frasquito Basurto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DreamerOne FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Frasquito Basurto took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lehoi Berastegui. Lehoi Berastegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 38th minute Inigo Hoyuelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Naranjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frasquito Basurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miro Fierro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inigo Hoyuelos to make the kick off. A collision led to Miticun FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guillelmo Gabiña hit a great ball. Lehoi Berastegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasquito Basurto in the 60th minute of play. Guillelmo Gabiña's late challenge caught a DreamerOne FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillelmo Gabiña helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Miticun FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Guillelmo Gabiña hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Inigo Hoyuelos took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Gil Naranjo to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the DreamerOne FC defense, Mano Hortega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Naranjo. The DreamerOne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Naranjo should have stopped the shot. Gil Naranjo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mano Hortega sent off a good shot on target. Santxo Hostos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Miticun FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geronimo Ben in the 79th minute. Miticun FC's Geronimo Ben was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Naranjo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute Frasquito Basurto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lehoi Berastegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lehoi Berastegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txatxu Gancedo in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to DreamerOne FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Santo Vicuña hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Inigo Hoyuelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miticun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inigo Hoyuelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Naranjo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DreamerOne FC's goalkeeper Gil Naranjo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
