Higoron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlondo Orihuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moncho Calenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tanio Moyua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlondo Orihuela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Aaron Paris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mincho Santillion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moncho Calenga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanio Moyua in the 26th minute of play forced Higoron's goalkeeper Mincho Santillion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Puig in the 31st minute of the match. Toco's Aaron Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Puig in the 32nd minute of play. Orlondo Orihuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Aaron Paris made a huge save. Crispo Cora's late challenge caught a Toco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Crispo Cora helped the player get up and apologised. Crispo Cora hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mincho Santillion came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Toco's Tanio Moyua. But to his dismay, Tanio Moyua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Crispo Cora hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 49thth minute of the game Tanio Moyua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Higoron's Mincho Santillion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Toco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Puig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Toco's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Puig came free, but Aaron Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Puig in the 59th minute of the match. Mincho Santillion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanio Moyua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mincho Santillion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moncho Calenga in the 65th minute. Moncho Calenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mincho Santillion made a huge save. The supporters of Higoron booed when Toco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pueblo Velastegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mincho Santillion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanio Moyua, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Tanio Moyua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moncho Calengas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Mincho Santillion to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 83 minutes into the match, Moncho Calenga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Higoron's Mincho Santillion. Mincho Santillion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moncho Calenga in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mincho Santillion, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mincho Santillion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Moyua in the 90th minute of the match. Moncho Calenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Mincho Santillion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Toco played a much better game than Higoron and deserved their victory. The Higoron players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
