Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Dantae Usategui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarapo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraquito the free kick. After 5 minutes of play, Guaraquito's Jordi Sordo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Potes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Angel Bodegas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Guarapo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Bodegas couldn't finish the play. Ugaitz Tremiño made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Angel Bodegas sent off a good shot on target. Angel Bodegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Ugaitz Tremiño skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 16 minutes into the match, Guarapo's Cayo Ferrer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ugaitz Tremiño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ascencio Licon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guaraquito! The goalkeeper, Ugaitz Tremiño, was totally fooled by Guarapo's Marco Sirguero, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alfonso Potes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ostadar Alas in the 24th minute of the match. Fernando Riero kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alfonso Potes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nevada Anguciana in the 26th minute of play. Nevada Anguciana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guarapo's Belmiro Argamasilla suffered a sore thigh after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mercurio Suazo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guarapo booed when Guaraquito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mercurio Suazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Angel Bodegas came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Guarapo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Bodegas couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Guarapo's Angel Bodegas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ugaitz Tremiño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Angel Bodegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Agrelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ugaitz Tremiño having to make a save. Nevada Anguciana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alfonso Potes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Nevada Anguciana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayo Ferrer charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayo Ferrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cayo Ferrer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Guaraquito got a freekick which was hit by Kismi Garoña. In the 72nd minute, Marco Sirguero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Bodegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angel Bodegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Guarapo got a freekick which was hit by Dantae Usategui. Guaraquito's Jordi Sordo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Angel Bodegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarapo's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Bodegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ugaitz Tremiño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angel Bodegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraquito's zone, Cayo Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ugaitz Tremiño came out of the goal and Cayo Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Bodegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ugaitz Tremiño having to interfere.
