Mulatalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Tachira the free kick. In the 26th minute, Indar Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Jeremias Deza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Tachira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Deza in the 43rd minute of play forced Mulatalito FC's goalkeeper Walme Barambio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Deza might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walme Barambio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Deza ran back to his position shaking his head. Christer Stubberud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walme Barambio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jeremias Deza sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes, Aires Parra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Tachira and the Mulatalito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Deportivo Tachira got a freekick which was hit by Aires Parra. Alesander Amestoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iaki Zamanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th play minute Jeremias Deza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walme Barambio. 0-3. Walme Barambio was a little too slow when Christer Stubberud got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Deza got free with Walme Barambio in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Llope Munguia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walme Barambio. Llope Munguia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Mulatalito FC's Christobal Baizan got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 93rd minute, Jeremias Deza made a precise shot to the right of Walme Barambio. Mulatalito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Tachira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mulatalito FC.
