But to his dismay, Bras Alberca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Helechal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rius Boreyta to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Moniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fabio Lantadilla made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bras Alberca in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Lantadilla saved Helechal from getting behind. Sal Hierro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fabio Lantadilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bras Alberca's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Nicasio Merodo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helechal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorri Aguiluz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romo Conejero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dickey F.C's Romo Conejero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onbera Yaner in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dickey F.C's Bras Alberca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Lantadilla. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Dickey F.C's Tomas Renta got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Nicasio Merodo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Romo Conejero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorri Aguiluz in the 40th minute of play. Nicasio Merodo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romo Conejero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Blasco Cienfuegos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorri Aguiluz in the 46th minute of play forced Dickey F.C's goalkeeper Romo Conejero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Merodo made a kick off. Fabio Lantadilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Gorri Aguiluz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Helechal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorri Aguiluz couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Sal Hierro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gorri Aguiluz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Helechal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorri Aguiluz couldn't finish the play. If Bras Alberca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Helechal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Sal Hierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Romo Conejero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Gorri Aguiluz made a precise shot to the right of Romo Conejero. Dickey F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Helechal failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
