Fusión Caribe's Ondino Cañaveral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresitobalo Oyardo in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Escobalito FC booed when C.D. Fusión Caribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelipe Urdapilleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Cresitobalo Oyardo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C.D. Fusión Caribe's Ondino Cañaveral. Ondino Cañaveral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Etxeberri Gallego struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cresitobalo Oyardo made the kick off in the second half. Ondino Cañaveral made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tiago Sobrido sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Bela Ameyugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Cresitobalo Oyardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. Fusión Caribe's Ondino Cañaveral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Cresitobalo Oyardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobalito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cresitobalo Oyardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cresitobalo Oyardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Escobalito FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over C.D. Fusión Caribe's much stronger midfield.
