Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Padro Campa got the match started through his kick off. Erlantz Jimenez took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Fontecavada. Kevin Fontecavada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Padro Campa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Club Cabimas's Ioritz Theas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amancio Casaponsa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ioritz Theas made a huge save. After having played for 26 minutes, Presebal Tegerina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Club Cabimas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Presebal Tegerina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Cascabel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Jimenez came free, but Kevin Fontecavada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Bladi Villerias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fero Tama, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Amancio Casaponsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ioritz Theas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Fontecavada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Jimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Presebal Tegerina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ioritz Theas went to the wrong direction when Txaran Reoyo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Padro Campa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ioritz Theas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Padro Campa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Club Cabimas's goalkeeper Ioritz Theas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Ferreros hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cascabel FC's Txaran Reoyo tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Club Cabimas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Obano Alastuey hit a great ball. Cascabel FC's Amancio Casaponsa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Amancio Casaponsa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascabel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Casaponsa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ioritz Theas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Presebal Tegerina in the 91st minute of play forced Cascabel FC's goalkeeper Kevin Fontecavada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Obano Alastuey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Club Cabimas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
