After some careless play in the Mucugote FC defense, Lucian Gonzalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lesardo Artechevezuen. The Mucugote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lesardo Artechevezuen should have stopped the shot. If Urtsua Zuñiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lesardo Artechevezuen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Zuñiga in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Palosano FC's goalkeeper Felo Arada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bihar Morelos. With his leg Felo Arada managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Mucugote FC's Bihar Morelos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Palosano FC's zone, Gaztea Fariñada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felo Arada came out of the goal and Gaztea Fariñada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palosano FC:s Felo Arada showed great skill when he stopped Misael Villoldo:s penalty. Jokin Gaviria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lesardo Artechevezuen having to make a save. In the 39th minute Jokin Gaviria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Artechevezuen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jokin Gaviria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felo Arada was a little too slow when Gaztea Fariñada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. Teodor Arechavala kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jokin Gaviria to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mucugote FC's zone, Lucian Gonzalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lesardo Artechevezuen came out of the goal and Lucian Gonzalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jokin Gaviria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lesardo Artechevezuen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaztea Fariñada struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Felo Arada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mucugote FC. Bihar Morelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Felo Arada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palosano FC's goalkeeper Felo Arada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Palosano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaztea Fariñada came free, but Felo Arada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mucugote FC's Lesardo Artechevezuen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Mucugote FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, Mucugote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Jokin Gaviria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sol Montenegro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Mucugote FC's goalkeeper Lesardo Artechevezuen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jokin Gaviria. Felo Arada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bihar Morelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes, Nuxila Morea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mucugote FC and the Palosano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Nuxila Morea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
