After a rather tough play, Cardonalito FC's Walme Tagle got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes, Arnaldo Joseph mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Draguito and the Cardonalito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Aquejano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Isidoro Solsona put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Batista Cendegui. Egun Altuve hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Apolo Aquejano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Draguito's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Aquejano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerano Montejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cardonalito FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Egun Altuve hit a great ball. Leopoldo Solache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match, Leopoldo Solache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerano Montejo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jerano Montejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Solache in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Cardonalito FC's Jerano Montejo got control of the ball when Apolo Aquejano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egun Altuve during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Petri Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leopoldo Solache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Aquejano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerano Montejo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Petri Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Petri Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Isidoro Solsona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Solache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Draguito's Batista Cendegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Draguito from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Draguito's Apolo Aquejano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerano Montejo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Apolo Aquejano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerano Montejo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Aquejano in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerano Montejo saved Cardonalito FC from getting behind. Petri Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Batista Cendegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Cardonalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Solache came free, but Jerano Montejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batista Cendegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Solsona in the 94th minute of the match.
