When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Leigh Stutz sped through Coneja FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ieltxu Mediano. If Maximo Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Benetton United's Leigh Stutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ieltxu Mediano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Honorio Marañon hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Benetton United's Umberto de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Benetton United from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Maximo Nieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieltxu Mediano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leigh Stutzs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Ieltxu Mediano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Coneja FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Maximo Nieto scored to the left of an out of position Ieltxu Mediano, making the score, 0-4. 68 minutes into the game, Iturri Galarza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coneja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benetton United the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Coneja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iturri Galarza to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Iturri Galarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benetton United played a much better game than Coneja FC and deserved their victory. The Coneja FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
