The tension between the Icabaru FC and the Benetton United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Virues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 90th minute Rocendo Amaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Bailina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Umberto de Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Icabaru FC's Jesus Angulo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Benetton United had played much better football throughout.
