Ceandro Cartagena was slow to take the kick. During this time Coboina FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Coboina FC's corner Ceandro Cartagena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rojelio Morenas quite easily take care of the ball. Taguapire's Rojelio Morenas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Taguapire from getting a goal against them. Harriet Cañarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Erce in the 72nd minute of the match. Ceandro Cartagena hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Olando Francisco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rojelio Morenas. After some careless play in the Taguapire defense, Edgard Lazaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rojelio Morenas. The Taguapire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rojelio Morenas should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Coboina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Gorostarzu came free, but Harriet Cañarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rojelio Morenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olando Francisco in the 92nd minute of play. Rojelio Morenas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olando Francisco in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Olando Francisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rojelio Morenas. Taguapire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olando Francisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The Taguapire supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coboina FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Coboina FC.
