Nardo Sopuerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Aceituno having to interfere. Fernando Aceituno came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Vereno's Nardo Sopuerta. But to his dismay, Nardo Sopuerta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 26 played minutes, Vereno's Diagur Regidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Aceituno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vereno reached it. Nardo Sopuerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Aceituno having to interfere. The Mocoyon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Aceituno should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nardo Sopuerta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vereno's supporters rose to their feet, but Nardo Sopuerta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Aceituno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Sadurni Pascual made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Aceituno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nardo Sopuerta in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Luar Aoiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vereno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mocoyon FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vereno's Luar Aoiz got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Nardo Sopuerta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sadurni Pascual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Mocoyon FC's goalkeeper Fernando Aceituno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nardo Sopuerta. With a little luck, Mocoyon FC's Fernando Aceituno got control of the ball when Nardo Sopuerta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luar Aoiz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Fernando Aceituno 84 minutes into the match. Mocoyon FC's Fernando Aceituno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mocoyon FC from getting a goal against them. When Nardo Sopuerta came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vereno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nardo Sopuerta couldn't finish the play. Vereno's Nardo Sopuerta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luar Aoiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
