After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eliu Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barranquin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliu Secada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gorka Herrara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barranquin FC's Damian Arizabalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Villacorta in the 18th minute of play. Leo Gorostieta hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Illart Ibio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Cresencio Huertas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Basura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cresencio Huertas couldn't finish the play. Damian Arizabalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cresencio Huertas in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Basura FC's Andrea Villacorta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Arizabalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leo Gorostieta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Arizabalo. Barranquin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Monte Gutierrez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Gorka Herrara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 39 minutes, Monte Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranquin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Eliu Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Gutierrez got free with Gorka Herrara in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cresencio Huertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cresencio Huertas took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Arizabalo. Damian Arizabalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Damian Arizabalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresencio Huertas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Monte Gutierrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barranquin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cresencio Huertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basura FC's Gorka Herrara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliu Secada in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Basura FC's Firman Zapico got a free kick in the 75th minute. Barranquin FC's Damian Arizabalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Barranquin FC from getting a goal against them. Gorka Herrara came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Barranquin FC's Eliu Secada. But to his dismay, Eliu Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Basura FC's Cresencio Huertas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Cresencio Huertas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barranquin FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Basura FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
