With his leg Evaristo Cires managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ's Lazaro Mecaur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manni Zarain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaxen Vozmediana, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Tigero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espiritu FC the free kick. The supporters of Espiritu FC booed when ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Tigero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Cosme Lamiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manni Zarain skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Iturri Villena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manni Zarain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bidari Sobarzo made a great header on ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ's corner, it was just that Espiritu FC's Evaristo Cires managed to reach the ball for a save. ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ's Manni Zarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaxen Vozmediana in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Iturri Villena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ's Manni Zarain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Espiritu FC's Kaxen Vozmediana in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Kaxen Vozmediana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leoiar Toral was the one to do the kick off. Theobald Ledesma charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Iturri Villena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iturri Villena came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Espiritu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iturri Villena couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Espiritu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ATHLETIC CLUB PTO ORDAZ throughout the match.
