In the 12th minute Juvenal Lisundia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Apara FC booed when Lucero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Polledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galtero Marrero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ambrosio Poz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Lucero's Ambrosio Poz got control of the ball when Galtero Marrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ambrosio Poz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Lisundia, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lucero's zone, Galtero Marrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Poz came out of the goal and Galtero Marrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lucero getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Godofredo Polledo hit a great ball. If Galtero Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Lisundia in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Poz saved Lucero from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Lisundia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Poz was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Lisundia in the 38th minute of play forced Lucero's goalkeeper Ambrosio Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galtero Marrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Docio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ambrosio Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Lisundia in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Generosb Ilisarri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isadoro Faes in the 57th minute. Isadoro Faes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximun Fanego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Apara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayman Rodezno to maneuver through the defense. Isadoro Faes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Generosb Ilisarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Isadoro Faes made a precise shot to the right of Generosb Ilisarri. Apara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Isadoro Faes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Generosb Ilisarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Lucero's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Lisundia came free, but Ambrosio Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ximun Fanego came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lucero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximun Fanego couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Apara FC got a freekick which was hit by Platon Aspe. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
