In the 7th minute of the match Oscar Cotobal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Txerran Telo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Urtungo Goyeneta made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Christiano Quincoces sent off a good shot on target. If Xzavaier Carreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Joao Matuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtungo Goyeneta was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Txerran Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzavaier Carreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xzavaier Carreras in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Txerran Telo saved Aguerito FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Masparrito FC's Gomez Martino got a free kick in the 34th minute. Aguerito FC's Oskarbi Olaeta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Urtungo Goyeneta but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Xzavaier Carreras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masparrito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xzavaier Carreras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txerran Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xzavaier Carreras to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Masparrito FC's goalkeeper Urtungo Goyeneta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Xzavaier Carreras made a precise shot to the right of Txerran Telo. Aguerito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Hever Anillo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Masparrito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hever Anillo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xzavaier Carreras in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Txerran Telo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xzavaier Carreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Txerran Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Aguerito FC's Txerran Telo got control of the ball when Hever Anillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes Aguerito FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Arrojo. In the 82nd play minute Hever Anillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Txerran Telo. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Aguerito FC's zone, Hever Anillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Txerran Telo came out of the goal and Hever Anillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xzavaier Carreras did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Txerran Telo 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aguerito FC booed when Masparrito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Moure didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Masparrito FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
