Fe Lariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Martinez Canton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martinez Canton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fe Lariz having to interfere. A collision led to Mesere FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tano Cordal hit a great ball. Martinez Canton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rayman Ozaolaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Martinez Canton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liceta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Canton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes Mesere FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabirel Ybañez. In the 38th minute, Hector Hermida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Liceta were awarded a corner. Macerio Urrea went to the cornerflag to take it. Liceta's Martinez Canton got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martinez Canton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martinez Canton made a kick off. Dalmau Calero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernado Centenales in the 53rd minute of the match. Martinez Canton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rayman Ozaolaza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fe Lariz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Fe Lariz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayman Ozaolaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fernado Centenales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmau Calero having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Mesere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Hermida to maneuver through the defense. Macerio Urrea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fe Lariz. Mesere FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mesere FC's zone, Rayman Ozaolaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fe Lariz came out of the goal and Rayman Ozaolaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Mesere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernado Centenales to maneuver through the defense. Liceta's Martinez Canton managed to work through Mesere FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Martinez Canton dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The attack was good, but when Rayman Ozaolaza in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Martinez Canton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mesere FC's Fe Lariz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mesere FC's zone, Martinez Canton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fe Lariz came out of the goal and Martinez Canton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolfo Ontiveros kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Liceta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
