The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rai Loranza helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 8 minutes, Berriotxoa Floranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ganga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berriotxoa Floranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ieltxu Galve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ieltxu Galve in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celino Villafañe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celino Villafañe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ieltxu Galve in the 15th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Ganga FC's Berriotxoa Floranes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celino Villafañe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Berriotxoa Floranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Berriotxoa Floranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celino Villafañe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celino Villafañe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berriotxoa Floranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Berriotxoa Floranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celino Villafañe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celino Villafañe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berriotxoa Floranes in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Arnero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Ieltxu Galve got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celino Villafañe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berriotxoa Floranes in the 60th minute of play forced Llanetes's goalkeeper Celino Villafañe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ganga FC's Ieltxu Galve got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berriotxoa Floranes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Celino Villafañe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganga FC. In the 65th minute, Ieltxu Galve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ieltxu Galve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Berriotxoa Floranes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celino Villafañe. The goal made the score 0-2. Celino Villafañe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Berriotxoa Floranes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celino Villafañe. That made the score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. Berriotxoa Floranes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Ganga FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Celino Villafañe made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ieltxu Galve sent off a good shot on target. Celino Villafañe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berriotxoa Floranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celino Villafañe having to interfere. Ganga FC played a much better game than Llanetes and deserved their victory. The Llanetes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
