Celino Villafañe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL MADRID FC. Llanetes's Celino Villafañe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endira Lueje in the 35th minute of play. If Ricardo Ontañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celino Villafañe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastia Minayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celino Villafañe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabino Veragua in the 41st minute of the match. Celino Villafañe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabino Veragua's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Gaston Arnero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastia Minayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celino Villafañe having to interfere. After the first half REAL MADRID FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llanetes's goalkeeper Celino Villafañe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gabino Veragua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
